The Milton Community Food Pantry Thanks Their 2024 Thanksgiving Donors and Seeks Sponsors for its Christmas Meals

The Milton Community Food Pantry sends a huge thank you to all the volunteers, partner organizations, and donors, who made our food distribution possible for Thanksgiving to 282 local families which is approximately 752 individuals.

We could not have provided our clients with the most essential part of a Thanksgiving feast – a turkey – without the support of generous local businesses who covered the cost of the turkeys. A very special recognition goes to Iron Works, Apple Electric, Quantum Controls, Dewey Brewing, Schell Brothers, Jamestown Painting, Pyramid Transport, Harry Caswell Plumbing, Berry Refrigeration, Lighthouse Construction, Saul Ewing LLP, and Diamond State Meats who discounted pricing to supply and deliver us turkeys. Their generosity made Thanksgiving meals possible.

The MCFP faces its next holiday hurdle in just a few short weeks. You can help. By sponsoring or supporting the Milton Community Food Pantry you will provide nutritious food to neighbors and give them hope that this will be their last food-insecure holiday season.

As the need for food grows, the MCFP is preparing to serve record numbers this holiday season—the pantry’s busiest time of year. By giving to the pantry, you help local children, seniors, veterans, and low-income families celebrate the holidays with delicious, quality food that make the season bright.

With your donation or sponsorship, you provide a bountiful variety of holiday groceries. Last year the MCFP supporters brought hope, holiday joy, and smiles to nearly 167 households throughout Thanksgiving and Christmas and our client list doubled in one year. We expect to care for close to 300 families this Christmas season.
