Our pantry could not give food to its clients without the support of our community.

We served more than 9,600 people in 2023. In addition to Milton, our clients come from many nearby communities including Lincoln, Milford, Georgetown, Millsboro and Ellendale, to name a few.

Donations are always needed. You can donate food or cash. These donations will help our operations and/or our capital campaign.

Thank you!

Weekly Food Donations

We accept donations of food every Saturday at our Distribution Center at 12898 Union St. Ext. in Milton from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. See the list of suggested food items that are needed. If you plan to make a very large bulk donation, please contact us via email or call 1 (302) 278-9557.

Cash for Food and Operations

The MCFP has two major types of operational costs: food purchases and expenses such as utility bills, supplies and equipment. The pantry gathers its food from a variety of sources – food rescue from local stores, and donations of fresh and shelf stable items from many sources. However, this is not enough to complete the food package we provide to our clients, which we strive to fill with fresh and non-perishable foods. We purchase additional food to ensure we have enough for the increasing number of clients who come to our bi-weekly distributions.

Cash for Capital Campaign

Our new building (Distribution Center) stores the fresh and non-perishable food and provides ample work space for our volunteers to sort and pack food for each distribution.

We are continuing with our capital campaign to upgrade our existing building that was built in 1960. This building will have offices and a meeting room to update and train our current and future volunteers.

These improvements will give us the capability of serving our growing number of clients now and in the future.
